1 Nathanson Retraktor System Nathanson Retractor System In recent years two laparoscopic procedures that re- quired retraction of the Liver became commonplace. Both Bariatric and GERD procedures necessitate kee- ping the liver elevated for virtually the entire proce- dure. Many methods were tried with varying degrees of success. In the meantime a new type of Liver Retractor with a Rigid Arm System has been established in the market: the Nathanson Liver Retraction System. It took the laparoscopic community by storm. Finally, surgeons could easily lift and hold the liver out of the way without the retractor sagging or a human retrac- tor holder fatiguing.
